2025 GovCon Awards Recap

NVC and the Professional Services Council (PSC) convened nearly 1,000 government contracting executives, policymakers, and industry stakeholders on November 5 for the 23rd Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards®. 

Held in a packed ballroom and anchored by a robust mix of networking, the evening showcased the depth, resilience, and competitive velocity of the govcon ecosystem. The program opened with a high-energy Gala Reception before transitioning to the awards dinner and post-event dessert reception, which was sponsored by Lexell Blue Consulting. 

“The GovCon Awards underscore the leadership, impact, and strategic value government contractors provide to our region,” said NVC President & CEO Julie Coons. “In a year defined by changes in the federal government, it was critical to recognize the resilience, innovation, and achievement of these business leaders. We are especially proud that so many NVC members were among this year’s awardees and finalists. This reflects the strength and value of the NVC community.”

Event co-hosts Richard Pineda, NVC Board Chairman, and Stephanie Sanok Kostro, PSC President, set the stage with welcome remarks contextualizing the legacy and continued evolution of the GovCon Awards. The 2025 ceremony was emceed by Ruth Ann Clark of J.P. Morgan Chase and Dimitri Devieux of USI Insurance Services, both Platinum Sponsors and long-serving members of the NVC Board of Directors. 

Across 10 award categories, the program honored 12 standout organizations and executives whose performance and strategic impact elevated the regional and national government contracting landscape.
