Learn more about the newest addition to NVC’s professional staff, Jocelyn Park. She is the new go-to contact for sponsorship, advertising, and investor relations.
NVC is thrilled to welcome Jocelyn Park as our new Investor Relations Manager, ensuring that NVC’s professional team successfully executes the deliverables for NOVA Roadmap Investors, partners, and sponsors, while fostering long-term collaboration across the region’s business community.
“Northern Virginia’s economic strength depends on keeping business leaders ahead of the issues shaping the region’s future,” said NVC Senior Vice President of Member Engagement Jared Sloane. “Jocelyn will ensure our investors are plugged directly into that work, from the collaboration happening through NOVA Roadmap to the initiatives driving our region forward. She will play an important role in elevating the visibility of our investors and ensuring their leadership and support are reflected across NVC’s programs and events. We’re delighted to have her on the team and look forward to introducing her to our members at NOVA RISE on April 16.”
Before joining NVC, Jocelyn worked at WorkSource Montgomery as both an Industry Engagement Coordinator and Business Services Consultant, where she partnered with employers, education partners, and community organizations to support workforce initiatives, talent pipelines, and career opportunities for students and job seekers of various backgrounds.
To understand Jocelyn’s background and experience, we sat down with her in a special Q&A segment.
Q: What are you most excited about when it comes to engaging with NVC members?
I am most excited about building meaningful, two-way relationships with our members. NVC brings together an incredibly diverse group of leaders across industries and sectors, and I look forward to learning about what matters most to them while identifying opportunities to connect them to the right people, ideas, and resources. At the core, I see this role as helping members maximize the value of their investment by creating thoughtful, strategic touchpoints that drive both business growth and community impact.
Q: What’s something members might not know about you?
I deeply care about the next generation of leaders. I’m intentional about creating space for both connection and reflection, whether that’s through mentorship or simply taking time to reset and stay grounded. That balance shapes how I show up in my work and relationships, and it’s something I carry into every interaction with our team, members, and investors.
Q: How does your experience partnering with diverse community organizations help you connect with our investors?
Having worked across education, workforce development, business, and community-based organizations has given me a strong understanding of how different sectors operate interdependently. I’ve built partnerships that require aligning diverse priorities, bridging perspectives, and uncovering shared value. This foundation shapes how I engage with NVC investors. I focus on understanding their goals and connecting them to opportunities that are both strategically relevant and regionally impactful.
