Virginia’s future is being written today — and through the NOVA Roadmap, our members are holding the pen.
The NOVA Roadmap is a call to action for Northern Virginia’s economic growth and sustainability.
Since releasing the NOVA Roadmap report in July, NVC has launched three of seven planned Executive Councils, bringing together leaders from across sectors to align our four bold goals. These conversations are critical to advancing the goals of NOVA Roadmap, translating vision into strategy and strategy into impact.
“I am grateful to our Roadmap investors and supporters for their continued commitment to Northern Virginia’s future,” said NVC President & Chief Executive Officer Julie Coons. “The Executive Councils are where our members share insights, collaborate, and shape actionable strategies. Together, we are turning the NOVA Roadmap’s goals into real impact for the region.”
Executive Councils: Powering the Roadmap
The Executive Councils are comprised of senior representatives from Roadmap Investor organizations. Executive Councils identify opportunities for collaboration and advocacy. By design, they bring together diverse perspectives that help NVC chart a path forward on issues that matter most to our region’s competitiveness and quality of life.
Selected based on expertise and industry representation, these leaders play a critical role in steering the Roadmap’s progress. Each Council is co-chaired by representatives from Chairman’s Circle-level Roadmap Investor organizations, ensuring strong leadership and strategic continuity.
