Featuring 2026 Keynote Speaker: Chief Master Sergeant JoAnne S. Bass
This year, we are incredibly honored to announce that our keynote speaker is JoAnne S. Bass, the 19th Chief Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force.
As the first woman to hold the highest senior enlisted position in military history, Chief Bass is a historic figure whose insights into leadership and workforce innovation are especially vital in today’s evolving economy. Her presence is particularly important this year as we navigate complex shifts in the national security and business landscapes, where her 31 years of experience offer a masterclass in developing the transformative leaders our nation requires.
This ceremony serves as a vital forum for advancing the NOVA Roadmap and its four bold goals, specifically the integration of highly-skilled veteran talent into Northern Virginia’s booming technology and defense sectors. By celebrating these innovators, we are strengthening a sustainable, veteran-supported talent pipeline that ensures our region remains globally competitive and our workforce remains resilient.
