Announcing the 2025 GovCon Awards Finalists

The stage is officially set for one of the most anticipated nights in the government contracting industry. NVC and the Professional Services Council (PSC) have unveiled the finalists for the 23rd Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards® (GovCon Awards) — an event widely regarded as the “Academy Awards of Government Contracting.”

The announcement came during an invitation-only Finalists Reception on August 21 at Westwood Country Club in Vienna, Virginia, where the region’s leading executives gathered to celebrate the individuals and organizations shaping the future of government services.

2025 GovCon Awards Finalists Reception“The Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards Finalists Reception sets the stage for the Awards Gala in November,” said Julie Coons, President & CEO of NVC. “This year’s finalists are redefining what it means to deliver for the nation, advancing missions, solving complex challenges, and setting new standards of excellence. Our government contracting community is a vital part of our economic ecosystem, and NVC is proud to showcase their impact and leadership at the Finalists Reception and the Awards Gala.”

On November 5, 2025, the spotlight will shift to The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner, where more than 1,000 of the most influential leaders from industry, government, and civic sectors will convene for a black-tie gala to honor this year’s winners. The evening promises powerful recognition, high-energy networking, and a celebration of the bold solutions and innovative leadership driving the GovCon sector forward.

Presented by NVC and PSC, the GovCon Awards recognize companies and executives who deliver mission-critical solutions, push the boundaries of innovation, and create lasting impact for the Greater Washington region and the nation.

“The GovCon Awards continue to be the premier celebration of excellence in government contracting,” said PSC CEO Jim Carroll. “Each finalist represents the ingenuity, resilience, and mission-driven focus that define our industry. PSC is proud to partner with NVC to recognize these outstanding companies and executives who are transforming how government serves the American people.”

This year’s Nominating Committee, co-chaired by Jamie Graham (Director of Business Development, KippsDeSanto & Co.) and Mandy Wheat (Partner, RSM), reviewed nearly 200 applications before selecting 37 finalists.

The finalists represent excellence across multiple categories, including Contractor of the Year (in four revenue tiers) and Executive of the Year (in three revenue tiers).
