Kicking Off the Next 100 Years with NVC’s Biggest Morning Yet: 2025 Annual Members’ Meeting

In Chamber Blog by Alexis Reed

We’re just one month away from one of the most anticipated events on the regional business calendar — the 2025 Annual Members’ Meeting. Join us for an extraordinary morning of celebration, recognition, and the best networking before 10 am.

This year’s meeting is particularly special, as we commemorate 100 years of NVC leadership. To mark this milestone, we’re introducing new sponsorship opportunities designed to increase your brand’s visibility at the event. These include:

  • Commemorative Mug Sponsor
  • Photo Booth Sponsor
  • Sweet Treat Sponsor

Each opportunity offers a creative way to elevate your brand presence while contributing to the festive spirit of the morning. Interested in becoming a sponsor? There’s still time! Reach out to NVC’s Sponsorship Manager, Dan Ross, to learn more.

The Annual Members’ Meeting has deep roots in our region. The earliest recorded meeting occurred on December 16, 1936, in the heart of Fairfax County. Since then, it has become a cornerstone event for community connection and leadership recognition.

As we honor the past, we also look ahead. The Annual Members’ Meeting remains a platform to recognize exceptional leadership — those who shape not only today’s economy, but tomorrow’s opportunities. This year’s honorees are:

Impact Award for Workforce: Dr. Anne Kress, President, Northern Virginia Community College

Recognizing visionary leadership that drives long-term impact on workforce development across the region.

Dr. Anne Kress

Lifetime Achievement Award: Scott McGeary, Retired – Director of State Public Policy, Washington Gas

Honoring a legacy of service and leadership that has helped shape Greater Washington into the vibrant economic hub it is today.
