The 2026 Virginia General Assembly legislative session is underway! NVC’s Government Relations Team is on the ground in Richmond advocating for NVC’s policy priorities. Throughout this year’s 60-day session, we encourage you to take advantage of the following free member resources to stay informed and track progress during the legislative session:
- 2026 Legislative Agenda: NVC’s advocacy efforts are guided by our 2026 Legislative Agenda, which includes recommendations from NVC’s Policy Committee — comprised of NOVA Roadmap Executive Council Co-Chairs and advocacy partners — that support the four bold goals of NVC’s NOVA Roadmap initiative. These policy priorities support the growth of Virginia’s strong and resilient economy, which is built on our right-to-work status, a business-friendly environment, and a strong, growing innovation ecosystem.
- Executive Member Forum (EMF) Richmond Recap Calls: Beginning Friday, January 23, 2026, NVC’s EMF calls will shift to weekly Richmond Recaps, 30-minute briefings focused on real-time developments from the Virginia General Assembly’s legislative session. These calls highlight important bills to watch, NVC’s policy priorities, and other legislative developments that may impact your business. These weekly calls run through March 13, 2026. To register for upcoming EMF calls, please email NVC’s Membership Team. To submit questions in advance of the calls, please complete this form.
- The Bulletin: For a deeper dive into NVC’s policy updates, we produce an exclusive, members-only newsletter called The Bulletin. This weekly newsletter provides timely updates on NVC’s policy priorities and legislative agenda, election results, and other legislative and regulatory initiatives that may impact your business. Subscribe to NVC’s email list, and contact NVC’s Membership Team to make sure you’re on the list for this special newsletter.
