Member Advocacy Connector

Bringing business and government together

As leaders within the Greater Washington Region, our members keenly understand the intersection of politics and business and its impact on future growth and policy. Our strength of reputation as the Region's largest and most powerful business organization allows us direct access with the elected officials actively leading change. We leverage these connections to successfully facilitate discussion between our business members and key government officials through our Legislative work, our own NOVABIZPAC, and our Member Advocacy Connector calls.

Our scheduled Friday morning Member Advocacy Connector calls have been carefully curated to build relationships between our members and elected officials. On behalf of our members, we invite those officials who are setting policies to share insights on what is happening within our Region over a conference or virtual call.

During these calls, our guest speakers typically spend twenty minutes discussing an important Government topic, such as the Virginia General Assembly, before we open up the discussion for member questions. Members who have questions but do not wish to speak are welcome to send them to the NVC's Vice President of Government Affairs, Nick Clemente, before the meeting's start.

Each call is available to all NVC members, at no charge. If you are interested in attending an upcoming Member Advocacy Connector call, please contact Nick, below.
