Our blog is open to all members and we ask that you keep in mind both the Editorial Calendar and Blog Guidelines listed on this page. Ideas must be submitted via the form below.

Our weekly e-newsletter, Doing Business, is published every Tuesday morning. Members are welcome to submit their news and feature blog posts.

NVC Blog Guidelines
Thank you for your interest in NVC's member blog. To submit a blog post topic, please use the form on this page.
Approved posts will be featured on our website, through our social media channels, and sent to roughly 25,000 subscribers through our weekly Doing Business e-newsletter.
When submitting your blog post, consider the following:
- Focus on Education and Value: The goal is to educate and provide insights for our community. Content should be structured with steps, recommendations, and/or key takeaways.
- Original Content Only: Your blog post should be fresh and original — no republished or previously posted articles.
Once approved, blog posts should follow these guidelines:
- Post Length: Posts should be between 500 and 1,000 words.
- Include Your Byline: Please provide the author's name, title, and company name. Please include a URL to the author's bio on your company's website. If a bio page isn’t available, a link to your company’s homepage will suffice.
- No Sales or Promotions: Promotional content, sales-driven language, and advertising are not allowed. For advertising opportunities, please email NVC Sponsorship Sales Manager Dan Ross at dross@nvcbusiness.org. To share information about upcoming events or positive news stories, please submit a Member News item for to include in our next Doing Business newsletter and in a social media post.
- Editing and Publishing: NVC reserves the right to edit submissions for formatting and clarity. Due to deadlines, final edits may not be available for review before publication. If your submission is not accepted, NVC will notify you and provide the rationale.
